Tablet suggestions?

I really need a tablet for work. I often find myself needing just a little more usability than my Droid provides and end up lugging my Macbook around. The iPad is out, I'd love one, but it just doesn't meet my needs. I've been looking at the Toshiba Libretta, at the top end of what I want to spend, and the Archos 9, much more affordable, but it doesn't seem nearly as functional as the Libretta. Any opinions on these two or other suggestions?

One of the Acer sub notebooks or similar...

Some newer larger Android devices will be out shortly... may want to wait a few months and see...

There are a avalanche of android powered tablets coming out. In six to nine months time you will have a plethora of choices from the major players.

Right now, look at the Dell XT2 or if you need rugged the XT2 XFR. Or you could go a "pure" tablet like the Motion F5v.

I'd stay away from cheap tablets.

The Big Chief makes a good one. I had one in grade school.

A tablet for work? A Percocet or a Xanax, perhaps?

Seriously though, I have nothing of value to add here.

Carry on -

The Libretto W100 tablet is exceedingly cool.

I love the idea of having two screens, this would be very useful for me.

I'm not clear if you're running a webbrowser on the top screen and Excel on the bottom screen, and you need to enter stuff in the Excel sheet, where does the virtual keyboard pop up.
