A lot of antifreeze is blue. How on earth did they MISTAKE a plastic 1 gallon bottle marked ANTIFREEZE for vermouth?

Cats love anti-freeze and will drink it and die if you let them. Gotta keep it out of reach of pets.
They'll drink gasoline too.

many years ago a neighbor's cat got in my garage when I was worknig on my boat. There was a pan of gas on the floor that I was using to clean parts. I looked over and the stupid cat was lapping it up.
I yelled at him and he stood up and got all weird looking. He made a really creepy screechy noise and started running around the garage a few times as if he was possessed and then stopped, shuddered a little as if he were having a seizure, and fell over stiff as a board.

Here in Michigan several puppies were killed by someone who put anti-freeze in the drinking water.

It is being investigated as malicious as the suspect(s) had to climb a fence and enter the barn/stable to do the deed.

*********s.

It's a terrible way to die - causes painful crystal formations in the kidneys followed by death due to being poisoned by your body's own waste building up to toxic levels. I can only imagine how nice that feels. Horrible, horrible way to die.

Keep the stuff away from anywhere animals can get it please.

And buy more air-cooled cars that don't need/use that crap.

Uremia ain't a bad way to die. The build up of nitrogen makes you lose consciousness and you drift off - takes days though. If you have colon cancer spread throughout your belly and it occludes both of your ureters (urine tube from kidney to bladder) it will be much more pleasant and less messy than a bowel obstruction, biliary (liver) obstruction or just about anything else. Just sayin' .......

Several years back - I think while living in Dallas TX, there was a family with several members that each had drunk from a coca cola bottle that one of them found somewhere in the house. Each took a swig or two trying to figure out what it might be - and then realized it was a liquid plumber (drano) type product. Each was rushed to the ER and suffered internal throat and stomach burns - quite serious. Seems that at some point, someone decided to store some left over product in a coke bottle for future use.
