"Salad bar" is a loose term. I love the sherry-soaked mushrooms and the smoked salmon...

Yes, they are very on top of things. Not just normal things either. I got a couple of spots of meat juice on my pants, I never said anything about it. 5 minutes later, there was a guy standing there offering me a Shout wet-nap. I'm not even sure how he knew.

Nope, that was my third time, and I didn't see/hear anything about them.

Salad Bar?!?!?

We don't need no stinkin' salad bar. That crap takes up valuable meat packin' space in your gut.

I ate a nice big apple today at work before I left. That was my roughage for the trip. I have to admit, I do eat the mashed taters, polenta patties and fried plantains that they deliver to the table.

I'm sure the salad bar is very tasty, but when I go to Fogo, I want to eat like a caveman (yes, I know that in real life, cavemen probably at as much or more gathered food [plant, nut, fungus] as meat, but you know what i meant).

I have yet to go the Fogo on Westheimer even though I drive past it every week, there is another place similar to Fogo off 59 (I forget the name that is also a Brazilian Meat House) and it is supposed to be great and cheaper...need to check that place out too. Way too may great eating places in Houston...laughing!

Fogo Party.......

When my son graduated from Georgia Tech a couple of years ago, my wife and I took him, 10 of his college buds, my brother in law and wife and his son and wife to the Fogo de Chao in Atlanta for a graduation party! You haven't lived until you see a bunch of semi-starved college guys go after all that food and drink!! Needless to say, the check was, well, "substantial" but a really fine time was had by all. I think we ate for about 3 hours or more!

I ran up a $200 bill for my wife and I few years ago. Left a $100 tip too. They have truly mastered the art of being attentive without being intrusive.

Oh, their waiters easily pull down more that $100k each. It's kind of funny eating in a place where the waiters make more money than I do...
