Do Favorite Movies Explain Us?

Today I had a conversation with a girl (woman) of 38-40 at work concerning movies. So I asked her what her favorites were, here they are:

Pulp Fiction
Blue Velvet
Inglorious Basterds
Boogie Nights
Spinal Tap
Best in Show
Clockwork Orange


Now, not for nothing but these movies are all very good albeit masculine. The lady is pretty cool, pretty cute and has been known to get along better with men than women. I think her movie choices explain this.

To hate Mel Brooks is just wrong. He has some of the funniest movies of all time!

Favorite movies probably explain where our interests are...at the time.

For example, my favorite DVD used to be Lemans. These days it's Bullitt, The color of money, or "The Hustler".

(edit) Forgot to add "American Grafitti"...for the music, the cars, and the plot.

I predict she is single, independent, and enjoys a ladies night out with her friends at a bar once a week or so. I am thinking she is a smoker as well. How close am I?

She is married and does not smoke, she is independent and enjoys a night out - she relates better to men then women though. So you are less than 50% correct. She is pretty attractive and very smart as well. She annoys me because she always has a sarcastic comment but she makes up for it with a fantastic body, pretty face and a love of great food and theater.

In a different life and if I was single and if she was single I would take a swing at it. Then again I pretty much used to take a swing at all and any pitch that look like it had a remote chance of being hit!!!

Oh ya, don't go to Vegas anytime soon.
