I agree that the video is fake. The sound is anyway. At least it doesn't sound right to me.

Don't ya mean Potassium permaganate (KMnO4)? Which gets ugly when mixed with Sulfur...

Or Potassium Nitrate(KNO3)? Which is used in fireworks...
