It works.

I'm sure it does to some extent. But I seriously doubt it works as well as kroil.

I thought we now only needed sawzalls, as that very smart guy showed us a while back.

LOL that reminds me of a good use for large 12 point sockets:
removing locking lug nuts when you don't have the special key socket.

Just find a 12 pointer that's slightly smaller than the lug and hammer it on with agression.
Chances are it'll grap well enough to use a ratchet or breaker bar to unscrew it. Or you could just sawzall the wheel like that clown. ;)

That has GOT to have a negative impact on his pit times.

You're jealous you didn't think of this innovative way to reduce unsprung weight. If 6 point sockets are preferable to 12 point, might not 3 lugs be better than 4?

Lug delete mod +1

Those are great, but what if you need Standard?

They make a metric and SAE set.

We had one of my coworkers convinced that they made different crescent wrenches for Metric and Standard.
Yeah, he's a moron.

I'm still not sure if the Roman foot is better than the Egyptian foot.

I argued with a buddy for 15 minutes one time, trying to convince him that there is a right and wrong direction to turn a cresent wrench. I even showed him the little arrow on the handle of one I had and explained why it was stronger with the torque applied one way and not the other. To this day he does not believe me.

Theoretically(to the layman), the force from both sides should be redistributed evenly throughout the mass of the object without the imput of furthur variables.

Ah, but look at the device. One side of the jaw is a solid forged piece with substantial mass. The other is much thinner and has only an acme style thread holding it from failing.
