It is hotter than a festering wound in Mira Mesa as well.

At least it is not the week of temperatures pushing 120 degrees back in late September.

The weird thing is that a week or two ago we had thunderstorms. This Sunday night I was wearing my new Flying Lizard hoodie on the drive back to San Luis Obispo. Around midnight I went outside and the warm winds were already coming in and I have had fans on all week since. It was really gusty on Monday and Tuesday and no shade to stop the hot sun roasting you. I rode my bike up one of the local canyons and was watching big waves breaking on the shore in Morro Bay- more than 12 miles away. The breakers would shoot a big cloud of spray in the air after crashing onto the rocks.

I do like it hot and dry rather than cool and wet. Better for riding my bike to class and stuff. I have been lucky since every couple weeks there is a sweet spot for a few days where the weather is cold with a nice breeze, sunny, blue sky, and dry road all at once. That is when I really love California.

I for one believe in climate change and the swings of temperature extremes it brings.

I knew it was supposed to be hot today, so I pretty much napped all day, then headed to the hanger to finish the 911 after the sun went down.

Yeah, after 6PM or so it is nice, too bad that means it is dark. It is supposed to be better for the next few days, though. That valley is always at least 10 degrees hotter than TO or SLO.

Whatcha' working on for your 911?

Nothing special Max. I needed a smog check, so I changed the oil (needed), adjusted the valves - also needed and had to make sure it passed smog - which it did legally. Tonight was clean up of the hanger and tools and put it back to its AX config.
