FWIW, the Warren Tactical "Sevigny" sights are the most popular in IDPA shooting which is mostly daylight stuff. I am comfortable with a handheld small flashlight in my weak hand with my gun am crossed over the flashlight arm for support when on the rare occasion I grab my Glock at night to take a shot at a varmint. Up close 5 yds or so my index is practiced enough through IDPA that I do not need to see my sights to get a good torso hit and any shot at night in self defense would likely be at similar close range... YMMV.

Here is a link showing what the Sevigny sights look like. http://forums.pelicanparts.com/off-topic-discussions/497567-new-glock-34-course-i-must-mod.html

Or you could get a Glock with a rail and then mount a light on it. I've shot a cop's Glock set up like this and the light does reduce the muzzle flip a little. They now make holsters that fit the whole thing too.

amazing! my brother just called me. one of his guys on SWAT, bought a G21-SF with the ambi mag release. no good since everyone uses the standard G21 mags. he is going to try to return it..never fired it. if not, i can buy it for $490.

yea, the 21SF ambi mags will work on the standard 21 but not the other way around.

One more thing Cliff;
Botach Tactical has TruGlo fiber optic/tritium sights for Glocks for something like $69. That is about half of retail. Nice combination that fiber optic and tritum.

If you're not is a hurry, I'd recommend you join GSSF for $35. Once you've joined you can buy one new 'spoon' a year at about LEO pricing.

GSSF Pistol Purchase Program
In an effort to better serve our members, we've made some changes to our original Pistol Purchase
Program. We have greatly expanded the number of participating dealer locations and GSSF Members
may purchase one GLOCK pistol per year at a discounted price by showing a current membership
card to that dealer. NO CERTIFICATE IS REQUIRED, just your membership card showing current
membership in GSSF! New pricing is also in effect. These changes should reduce the waiting periods
involved, allow better access to our participating dealers and eliminate most transfer fees while
making the entire process more convenient for our members.
Member Responsibilities
1. Member contacts GLOCK for local dealer information, then calls the dealer to be sure they are
participating in the program and that the dealer has the model they want to purchase in stock.
2. Member takes (current) membership card to dealer along with any other required documents. If
you have lost your card, you must contact GSSF to receive a replacement card. New members
will need to wait to receive new member packet with membership card.
3. Member is responsible for any taxes or fees as is required by the local, state, and federal laws.
4. Must meet all local, state and federal laws to purchase a pistol.
5. You may only purchase 1 GLOCK per year.
