Actually those gators are pretty stupid too. That's quite a lot of meat they just passed up.

Had I been there I probably would've shrieked like a girl and ventilated both reptiles.

And I thought my cat was tough for roughing up the neighbor's husky.

I had a cat like that back in Austin. It would taunt dogs who were known to attack cats. Actually the cat acted much like the girl who left it at my house

They've been feeding them. This country over here is full of them and if you feed them they get lazy and always want a hand-out. Now for the disclaimer; Don't get too close!

Now if that had been here in Oz with our big bad ass salt water crocs (6-7mtr), the cats, the kid and maybe an adult would've been done in.

I hate alligators! Friggin pests! They are like deer up in Michigan. You have to take them seriously due to their teeth, but otherwise they are just a big nasty stray dog. They are pretty timid, you can chase them off easily. I take my boat some days down the back canals around Fort Lauderdale, and I see them on the banks some times. I turn the boat toward them and they run into the water.

I built a swim platform from a 4 X 8 sheet of plywood and some 2 x 6's, with a sheet of foam insulation underneath and cheap outdoor carpet on top so that I could launch my kayak from my dock, and I've had the bastards on that thing a couple of times. Turtles usually hang out on it, and they leave as soon as they see me, but the damn alligators just open their mouths and hiss until I hit them with a broom. I keep telling my neighbors that one of these days I'm going to smoke one of them with my MAK-90, just to see how badly it would tear them up. There is a great big chunk of meat where the tail meets the body that tastes just like chicken, and I have some seriously redneck neighbors that would be happy to help me eat it!

N!
