Must do's around Phoenix
My wife and I might be in the Phoenix area late Feb-early March. Possibilities include me driving down with our 5th wheel and her flying in once I am there. OR we could both fly in and rent a car. Anything car related I should do? Love guns as well so any ranges open to the public that I can rent/try different combos would be cool. Pretty easy to please my wife. Give her good food/wine and some sight-seeing and she is good to go. Thought of going to the Nascar race.
Any good advice?

If you make it in time the Barrett-Jackson auto auction is a lot of fun.
For her, take her to Sedona and book a night there in one of many very nice hotels. Its always nice there... Let the "Phoenix PP brain trust" know and we can get together with you guys.

Kolby's corner pocket in Tempe...if you're lucky you might be able to catch Scott Frost, the national "one pocket" champ, playing a money game on the 9' Diamond table there.

Not everyone here feels the same way about the Governor as the above poster does. Lets not get this kicked in to the PARF section Mr. Brew.

I spend half the year in Phoenix and, compared to some of the village idiots we've had as governors over the past 50 years in Minnesota, I think Arizona's governor is just fine. And there's lots of good car stuff happening in Phoenix. Google "Cars and Coffee Phoenix".
