In your most recent post you are defending the idea and state that you will proabably let them stay for a month. So what was the point of all this? Maybe I missed the question.

Maybe. I'd sure like to hear what Fred's reply is as well.

Hey Shaun - I was in Cambridge a bit ago. Stayed at the Hyatt and ate dinner at a little Greek joint on Brookline (I think). Cool place you have there.

your wife is terrible for making this decision for you, already saying yes to the deal and putting you in a bad situation. If you don't go along with this, might as well file for divorce.

The couple are scum because:
1. they are lowlife poor
2. the don't have jobs
3. they don't have a home
4. they will have to save for a home which will take 32 years
5. they are irresponsible
6. they will be sponging off of you forever
7. they are, in general, disgusting homosexual, less than human
8. just the fact that they want to impose makes them scum
9. they will never leave
10. they are terrible parents. lesbians with black kids? WTF? that's just wrong. poor lesbians with no jobs, no home and black kids? why they should just be Rick Lee'd and be done with it.
11.They just want to live off of you, scott free
12. their marriage will ruin your family

What did I leave out?

Sometimes it's like I stumble on a 1975 Ford Pinto forum.

Well, you need to go with your gut on this, or let your wife make the call. You don't always get a reward for self sacrifice, but you do get to make a sacrifice. If you do it, bear it and don't complain. You would have to wait for your wife to come to any negative conclusion, or you will look like a jerk.

IMO, it is a bad idea, unless your wife's sister has a flawless track record of integrity.

Go with your gut, Luke. If you want to say no, all you have to say is, ''My house is really small.''

''No.'' You can also say, ''Sorry, but no.''

It's a nice town Richard. Next time, stay in Harvard Square, it's a little more cozy, and if you find yourself here again, send me a note.
