42cm of snow...had to tow the race car in!
Winter has officially arrived in Ontario...finally got the new garage clutter moved about enough to get the race car in, but not before ~20cm got down...and its still snowing!

Nice looking house!!! Does the porch wrap around the house?
Michigan is supposed to get some significant snow this weekend. I've pretty much accepted that driving the 911 is done for the year now.

I thought I saw a snowflake here yesterday, but it was just a dandelion seed; regardless, if I had reported it, they may have cancelled metro-area schools.

Winter arrived in the great lakes with a vengence this week. Buffalo got a couple of feet last week. Here in London it has been snowing heavily for 2 days . Snow is about 60 cm so far with 30 more forcast in next 24 hrs. (30 cm =1ft for southern readers). I just got around to cleaning out one side of the garage and put the 993 away for the season on Fri. now couldn,t get it out without a snowblower/plow.

This early winter snow has closed the schools and will likely match a record snowfall set in 1977.(3 ft in 3days). We have a winter home in Tampa and don,t go south until after family Christmas is over.Can,t wait. Florida radio warnings about keep your dog and cat inside because it is going down to near freezing is funny. Our cat likes going out all night all winter here. We also saw an elderly couple both wearing ladies mink coats and shivering while shopping. It was about 50 deg. It really is all about what you are used to.

I live in the snow belt just east of Mosport and we got nothing. We have a couple cm left over from a week ago.

Yep, it is here, I had to mount the plow on the ole dually last night, and push out my driveway, and plow the shop lot this morning. I still have to move some cars around so I can get the 951 under roof this weekend. Winter , blech!. It really cuts down on my productivity in the shop, I have to de- ice and drip dry every car before I can do any wrenching, but I still always get dripped on.

I don't think I ever want to live where it dumps snow. Texas summers might suck, but at least I don't have stand out side clearing snow/ice off the car!

Thanks for the house compliments. The porch does go around. The entire right side of the house is new...8-car garage on the bottom, master suite up top. In the finishing stage now. 2nd furnace goes in today and I'm laying hardwood floor tonight...
Re the Range Rover, yeah we tend to actually use our trucks, that one does a bunch of towing...took the Landcruiser and WRX out yesterday for a hoon around the neighborhood, love the 4-wheel drift in the 74 FJ40!...wish I still had the Patrol from Oz... It hasnt stopped snowing in almost 30 hours now, neighbor plowed the drive twice already...looks like ~25 inches down already and still snowing...
