AOL email strangeness-anyone else having issues?

For the past couple of weeks, I'll have incoming emails but when I open my inbox there is nothing there.

Other times, even after I delete the emails it still shows I have 1 unread but the box is actually empty.

Tonight, the inbox number has actually changed(from 1 new to 7 new and then back to 2). When I opened it, it was empty.

Anyone have any ideas? We haven't made any changes to our system.

AOL is strange out of the box. Get a real ISP and ditch AOL!

Ok, ok, I give up!!

I 'll have a chat with the wife on upgrading.

Now, if they would just make a cellular phone that doesn't need to be carried in a bag.

I still keep my AOL screen names though they are ridiculous, and I rarely check my emails via AOL any more. My old friends still have my aol addresses, that is the reason I keep them.

most of my AOL addresses have hundreds of SPAM messages anyway-

Thanks for the fix, milt!!

Like Normy, we have had the same addresses for many years. I use Mozilla to search that Internet thing and surf my favorite websites.

The wife is checking on what our options are at this point.

We really have had no issues and little or no spam mail at all while we have used AOL.

AOL bought my free e-mail service a few years ago. No problems so far.

I have had the thing where I delete an email and it still shows up the next day. I was looking at that a couple of days ago, rubbing my chin, and figured that I had just not cancelled the emails.

I'm using a MacBookPro, for what it is worth.

N!
