My wife was asked to use the millimeter scanner

she preferred to be groped in a federally approved manner...

She claimed it was no fun at all...

I traveled thanksgiving from LAX to PDX... no scan... no pat down...

The system is just pleading to be breached. If we know it on this BB it's for sure the bad guys know it as well and it's just a matter of time.

Went through the scanner at EWR, no big deal.

What I don't understand is why the theatrics, when you can go in the airport and pick up 'banned items' like knives and forks. This was taken at a bar in EWR terminal, all of the counters were set with silverware, knives and forks at tables:

You can also carry ball point pens and knitting needles through security... but hey, they took my tube of toothpaste away from me... I feel so safe!

IAH. We had to check in at one terminal, then leave from another (small plane outbound). I checked. They even had the L3 scanners at the other terminal.

Seriously, everyone who was tagged to go through the scanner was either really good looking, or was over 80 years old...

Yeah, there is a steak place in EWR which has really nice aged beef. And...steak spoons...
