When I turned 45 ( 7 years ago ) I started getting tested yearly as part of the routine physical. I've had two colonoscopies in that time frame and so far so good. No history of colon cancer in my family but both of my parents passed away from cancer . So better to get checked in my opinion. I just ask the doctor to remove his class ring .
