LOOKIE!! stepdad gave me a 35 yr old NIB shotgun!!

holy kamolee...this thing,..my stepdad asked me a casual question, "do you like side by side shotguns?"..of course i said yes. i love the over/under, but a nice SxS gets my blood going.

he wanders off, and comes back into the house with a very dusty box. "here! merry Christmas!" it is a never before shot, shotgun. 12 gauge of dove busting wonderment. double trigger like you euro guys fancy..modified barrel, improved cylinder. i am stoked! he has given me 3 over and unders, and now this SxS..this is the official, "get off my lawn showpiece". the paperwork, all of it is there, shows it is from 1978 or so. it is a Berretta..no model name i can see.

i ran a boresnake through the tubes, and wiped it down with a oiled cloth.

Beautiful! Will it handle steel shot?

A Berretta! Wow! Very Nice! I now have SXS envy! If you EVER have any problems with it send it to Coles In Maine. They are the Berretta gurus and very nice people. You will like that gun.

Yer gonna love your Secret Santa box.......just sayin'

Nice score! Looks like a "beavertail" fore end. Go out and bust some clays with it, SxS shoots a bit different than an O/U. Merry Xmas to you and the Wife Cliff.
