Well, he did b!tch slap that flat screen and he did get loud and flail around. But I don't see where he distinctly approached anybody in particular? As far as his coworkers stepping in to restrain him when he was ranting and raving, I have a sneaking suspicion that that may have been for effect; Stop me, stop me! Restrain me before I jump over the counter and clock the guy with the Porsche hat!! He's bigger than me! Stop me!

Did they bait him? Probably yes...

I guess I need some education on the abbreviations.

LEB: I doubt that is for Listeria Enrichment Broth. I am guessing it is short for someone from Lebanon.

ABO: I have to guess is short for an aboriginal.

I have never heard either term before but it seems those are both considered insults or put downs.

I was surprised to find out Oriental very much not a Politically Correct term when referring to a person from the orient the proper term is Asian.

We have all sorts of insults.

Asians were called Wogs... Western Oriental gentleman. Used by the English immigrants more than second generation Australians.

Then at some point in the 60s the term Wog was used to describe Southern European immigrants. Mostly the Greek and Spanish immigrants. The Italians were singled out as Dagos.
More recently the term Wog is used by the European immigrants and their descendants much like your American Negroes use the N word amongst themselves.
The aboriginals have never been treated with respect but recently things are getting better.

I've traveled the world and people are basically the same wherever you go. Respect goes a long way...

A bunch of white a55hole Aussies went into a KFC and baited the employees. I don't even see how Islam plays into the video. It sounds like the guy was saying "don't call me b!tch!", as if people ordering called him that. How does Islam play into this?

Thank you both; you've helped me make my intended my point, that point being that I believe that that video is based on religious and ethnic prejudice.

Abo and nigger are both sick racial slurs.

Leb and wop (last time I was in Melbourne the slur for Italians was "I-tie", however it's spelled) are both ethnic slurs.

Create a similar scenario here in the U.S., cast it with blacks and a racially prejudiced white film crew, plug in the slurs of choice and tell me how that video would differ from the video in the op.

dewolf, we've pm'd each other in the past - tell me "they don't work" is satyrical. The same is a stereotype of blacks held by some racial bigots here. I have respect for you and would be saddened to learn you are racist.

That's because the word "orient" doesn't mean China and Japan, it means Iraq and Iran and Saudi Arabia. "Oriental" means "from the East", not "Far East", which is now "Asian".
