This KFC has stopped selling bacon so as not to offend the Muslims in the neighborhood. Too bad if your from out of town....

Don't see the issue, go into any fast food chain in different regions/neighborhoods and you'll see menus that cater directly to the demographics of the area.

In NY metro, NYC, Long Island, if you want mustard on a burger you need to ask for it, ketchup is the default.

Most other places I've been to it's the opposite.

Smart business if you ask me.

If it is on the menu, you should be able to order it without getting yelled at.

It seemed odd to me they just happened to be filming this. Who brings a video camera with them to order fast food? I think there is more to this clip.

Nonetheless, that is crazy...why would a Muslim employee be offended that you were okay with bacon, it's not like you are making them eat it. He should be fired for his outburst...

You can here the manager say to the kid about the customer, "He did not know that, it's OK" then to the customer "We don't serve bacon"

First thing the kid screams is "don't call me *****"

The sign on the glass case, "Not Halal", is pretty much the same as "Not Kosher".

That indicates their customer base expects the food complies with dietary rules.

Can't read the smaller print so it may refer to a particular food item that they serve, not that the entire restaurant is Halal.

Anyone who has worked retail knows you can't go berserk and expect to keep your job, even if it was the customer baiting you...he should have let the manager deal with it.

Maybe they went in with the intent of baiting him, maybe they just started filming when he went all "Mel Gibson" on them, I don't think any of us could say for certain. One thing for sure, his reaction was inappropriate. If anyone ever came at me or anyone I know like that, they would be talking to a cop or an EMT pretty soon afterward.
