You're in the hotel room and . . . . .

And the toilet is running on; the chain is a bit too long, and gets caught under the rubber stopper at the bottom of the tank. Easy fix.

What do you do? Which kind of person are you?

I'm bored, and this concept is immediately applicable to me right this very second.

Just fix the thing. By the time they got someone up to the room to look at it or get me moved, I could have been asleep.

The exception to this was about 20 years ago around Midnight, when we heard water running in the bathroom...out of the ceiling. The hotel had a junior hockey team in the house that night and some activities on the floor above us 'got out of hand'. They initially offered to send someone to our room to clean it up, as they "had no rooms left".

NFW! I went down to the front desk.

After some discussion, the night manager offered the information the executive suite had not been let for the night. I said "Fine, we'll use that." Ten minutes later, we had gotten my son out of bed, moved to the top floor and called it a night.

Ah! the joys of travel.

Don't you have people that take care of stuff like this for you? Have them come over and fix it.

Just put the hooker in the closet until they are done with the repair.

depends, can I wiggle the handle to fix it temporarily? Am I going to be there a few days or a few hours.

If I'm not going to be there long, and I can just wiggle the handle, I'll wiggle the handle and tell them about it when I leave. If I'm going to be there for a week, and this is the first day, then I'll just fix it myself.

i would "keith moon" the living hell out of it(the toilet) and anything else in the room, throw the TV in a pool, burn the gideons bible, phone book, pizza boxs, and then write a nasty review on how bad the "holiday inn" service was and demand a refund for the entire band and road crew.

then i would go down to "awful house" (waffle house/dennys) and see what the lokal "street action" is all about, go back to the bus, and write a few "HIT" songs and become RICH !

I'd fix it and tell the front desk about it when I checked out.

But calling the front desk and demanding a fresh hooker and a "Panormama" is an appealing option.

I'd verify the leaking flapper is that of the toilet and not the cheap hooker Sidney sent over? Happens all the time.

Turn the toilet water supply off.
If nature calls, provide hooker with a "Cleveland steamer" while you read Panormama.
