Yokohomas on my Harley F-150

Put a set of Yokohomas on my Harley F-150 yesterday.. I made a 300 mile trip today.. What an improvement over the Goodyears.. I know it's communist to put Japanese tires on a Harley Davidson pickup, but it is what it is..

1)- I'm not sure if there are any viable 'Merican tires for a truck; BFG? Eww.... Goodyear? Eww. Uniroyal? Eww.

2)- Ford does weird cross-breeding now and then - IE: "Mustang Cobra"

Nice truck tho, I'd rock one....

I put Yokohama GeoLanders on my Dodge Durango. It was spec'd with Goodyear. The improvement was immediate and emmense.

The straightline tracking is vastly improved, but the wet traction improvement is off the charts.

Hell ya they are good tires. As for the wet traction, I came of Kumho KR21's and they weren't as good in the wet.

Still decent. Very quiet too. I can hear the wind noise instead.

My 2001 Tahoe is on it's 2nd set of Geolanders after the tread on the OE Goodyear Wranglers separated.

I'm no fan of Harley's or their gear for that matter, but what your wrote is not exactly true. Those trucks have a custom leather interior thats actually pretty sweet.

Anything above a Lariat all you are getting is a fancy paint scheme/special leather interior, not always for the better.

Uninformed comments guys. Show me a 'normal' F150 Crew Cab with a 340hp / 425lb-ft Supercharged 5.4L V8, lowered performance suspension with 20 inch wheels, but without the logos, leather, and paint scheme (and fascia, bumpers, grille, headlights, exhaust, etc). Some Harley Edition F150s were truly special SVT-engineered monsters.

Don't like it? Live with your 260hp Lariat package and have fun pulling 0.6Gs with the contractor's suspension.
