Same here but thunder was well muted by the heavy, heavy snow. However, the wind was quite evident and snow moving was a royal PITA today...that is some heavy wet stuff!!

Freaking ridiculous. Walked out into the steel and concrete canyons tonight only to find the street covered in an inch of snow and freaking THUNDER echoing through the sky.

We had Thundersnow in the fall of 1987 in Schenectady NY. We all had been drinking the night before. We saw the flash (cloud to cloud) but no one said a thing until we we heard the thunder. We each thought we had imagined it or it was a hangover effect.
