I live below Tucson. You have any of those batteries still? Are they any good at this time? I'm needing about 12 for a project.

Joeaksa - I know it was a few years ago, but I just saw this while working on my own deep cycle battery puzzle, could you give me some advice on how you connect w the contractors w those used batteries? I'd like to try here in Texas...

Glad to but it was very easy... we saw a note on Craigslist and went from there! Or if you drive around any construction sites and see the trailers with solar panels on top, stop and ask them.
