Gift for the guy who has everything?
Looking for a gift on behalf of some people, with a budget of aboutt $1000. The recipient is a car nut... Loves racing, F1, and sports cars in general. Also likes wine, and cycling. He doesn't really have everything, but has more than enough dough to buy anything he wants, so creativity is what counts...
Any ideas? |

If he's a real car guy, there should be something nice for him here:
Car Care, Detail Supplies, Garage Organization, Car Accessories - Griot's Garage 800-345-5789 Or, how about some tix to a nice car event (pebble beach, rennsport) etc...

How about a weekend Performance driving school, there are some open wheel classes like Skip Barbour, he might get into.

For the car nut that has it all...
I know, a shameless plug, but how about this:
Passo Tourismo München: Porsche mieten, Porsche 911, Oldtimer mieten | the roadtrip of a lifetime For the discerning motoring enthusiast: all-inclusive (classic) Porsche 911 road trip through the Alps. With a $1,000 budget, I'm sure that we'll be able to work something out. Drop me a line! Lars

Experiences are better than things. Driver school. Kart racing. A nice weekend away.
Good luck. Larry |

Day at the local race track? A few years ago I won a full day at Mid Ohio through the Porsche club and it was fantastic!

Look at Griot's Garage website- they have a "Tracks of the world" artwork that is really cool- Not in the $1000 range but could be part of a package of race related goodies.

Sorry dudes but 1 large ain't gonna go far in the noise candy panty dandy lane.
You could buy him 12 books on Spend Analysis and Specification Development Using Failure Interpretation and use the remaining $40 on chewing gum. Hay, it's an idea, didn't say it was a good one!
