Last time I drove 3 hours to find an empty parking lot with sunny skies. It was cancelled because it was supposed to rain. I was not a happy camper!

I drove 6 hours in my 911 several years ago for a cold/rainy/windy Hershey..... It was not worth traveling that far for it to me.

I looked and the chance of rain is 100% today. I've been to it about 3-4 times and it has rained at least at 3 of those. The weather isn't the factor that has stopped me from going. I'm only 3 hours away. I'd say that everything is down 50% from when I first went. (People, vendors, cars, parts, etc.) Nothing you couldn't find in a few hours online. I think that is what has cut it down. Consistently lousy weather doesn't help.

It was very cold, rainy and very empty. Fueling the stomach now for the drive home.

You would think they would plan this for a month other than one that is know as a rainy month. A fall date would be better. I don't even consider going any more. And I live only 1 hour away.

They can only have it there when the park's closed. They should probably consider another location, but it does require a fair bit of space.

We have a huge swap meet here at Englishtown Raceway park every spring and fall. Huge one, equivalent to Carlise. The spring one seem like it always gets a ton of rain.

Some great deals, not as much for sale as past years (understandable), really good to see some old friends and meet a few Pelicans I had yet to have the pleasure. Definitely worth the 14 hour drive.

It was nice to finally meet you in person Shaun, after years of "knowing you" on Pelican. Nice seeing you again Steve. Your son is really growing fast! Bavaria911 stopped by to chat and buy stuff throughout the morning. I made some great deals (for the buyers!), way below what you'd expect to see here in the classified ads. The weather was a great motivator to get deals done, so those of you that needed stuff but stayed away, well, you missed it.
