I was there the day the Diamond T rolled in on the back of a large flatbed. Man what a wreck.
And what an awesome thing it's been turned into.

I think the writer did a great job. Editting the article must've been a challenge.... so much interesting stuff in JW's shop (and brain). I'm glad the author didn't mention the annual swap meet. That's always a nice get-together.
We're lucky here in Seattle to have such a plethora of fine repair shops, each of them with a special flare.

Hey John It is great to see the back story, of what you have going on at your shop. You and others of the more experienced members are so forthcoming with help and guidance for the ones us that are just learning about how to care for our P-cars. But its great to see some of the stuff that you are into. That Diamond T truck came out awesome, nice work.
Please share more with us, some of those Caddy / Buick clones, etc. Too cool! Oh and thanks again for all the info. Richard |

Thanks! JW amongst a bunch of others on this board have helped me immensly over the years, either by "fast", direct replies to questions, or the wealth of knowledge they have shared with others in the archives. Very cool...

Last time I was in JW's shop he had a Moto Guzzi Eldorado in there he was fixing up. It's always fun going in there and seeing what he is working on. Oh ya, and he takes great care of my Porsches.

John Walker helped me out when I was having CD troubles and he sent me a Bosch CD to replace the "PermaDoom" unit that failed. Without his assistance, I never would have gotten to the bottom of that issue!!

I had to have the rear window of the 101 projects car re-done. Wayne probably still has the aluminum trim in his garage
kidding. John gave me the stuff for like $40 bucks. When I showed up at the glass installer he asked where I'd gotten the trim and said Porsche wanted several hundred for it. Thanks JW.
