I've never felt the need for CCW as I simply don't live that way. Most folks that I've known (that have over the years), would LOL at the idea of "permission from the govt " anyways. I've got a "much better weapon between my ears" than my .45 for ALMOST every situation. I'd have probably just grabbed a fire extinguisher and difused the situation with it...but that's just me.

I was in a melee last year where I tried to be the voice of reason and took a beer bottle to my head and 15 stitches for my effort. Between the gangsters and old white guys involved, I was really surprised no guns were pulled especially in Houston. And I'm grateful they weren't.

Will I intervene again? Of course, that's the way I was raised (in Texas we're raised, not brought up.)

I was in a similar situation many years ago when I was as fit as Sniper. I escorted my girlfriend to my car, locked the doors , went back in and intervened on behalf of a much smaller person. I took a few good shots and gave a few back and then it was over.

Sniper, even though the SC may be considered non-lethal....might you not still face an aggravated assault charge? This is not a criticism brother, just curious.

Sometimes when you do the right thing, you open yourself up to bad things. It's just the way it is.

In the situation in the video, i'd be far more worried about one of those black chicks having a blade (very likely) and stabbing me than i would be about the abstract notion of getting sued or arrested.

When our new castle law passes here in a few months, it will be illegal for a criminal to sue their victim in the state of Pa, so hopefully that would prevent most such occurances where a good Samaritan jumps in to help and subsequently gets sued blind or charged for his troubles.

If you help you could come to regret it, but if i stood there and watched that kind of a beating and did nothing, i KNOW i would regret it, and it would haunt me.

Not all blacks act that way, not even all ghetto blacks. And there are plenty of poor white trash rednecks that are just as bad.

I personally think black girls are pussy cats, and very easy to deal with. Much lower maintenance than white girls, and far more accommodating as well.
