I'd Love to Change the World
But I don't know what to do. I think I'd start by getting this d@m$ song out of my head. It got stuck up in ma brain at some point and now it's, like, still up there ten years later.

The part of your brain that songs get stuck in is like RAM. You need to record something over it.
Approach this aggressively. Creedence... really loud... will usually do the trick. If the old song comes back, reapply.

Good tactic, but I'd rather replace it with something of value:
YouTube - The Verve - Bitter Sweet Symphony Not that there's anything wrong with I'd Love to Change the World. It's a great song.

Listen one time to "Afternoon Delight", Starland Vocal Band, mid '70s. I heard that recently on some ad, and I now can't get it out of my head. It keeps playing over and over and..

try Cold Fusion
if it works you'll change the world and be rich too if not, you can use the waste products generated to "clear" your head Last edited by RWebb; 05-08-2011 at 02:50 PM.. |

![]() But the context was songs that stick in your head. If we're going for absolute value, in my never-humble opinion, there are few rock songs in the past 4 decades that can compare to this: YouTube - Live Forever

You should probably read up on that. ABKCO pulled a switcheroo. Anyway, Jagger/Richards also > CCR.

Please, Please....listen to Ten Years After, a (the) whole album...."A Space in Time"
Do it two or three times, you won't regret it. It was on in the garage today 'twice" while the neighbors and I were enjoying a few late afternoon brews. The song is great, the album is excellent. See if you can find the "rock-a-billy" circa 1970... Don't wash it out of your brain, add it to the collection Karl 88 Targa |
