my wife she's the best

The wife and I have been married for 33 years and have two wonderful sons and two grandchildren. Last fall we moved to Georgia into a wonderful home. Last weekend we were doing some yard work and I was cutting some smaller tree limbs with a bow saw. I was in a real thick mess and she saw how I was struggling plus it was hot out. Well don't you know it I get home from work yesterday and sitting in the livingroom is a brand new chainsaw !!! Complete with carry case, bar oil and new gas can for the gas/oil mix. She has put up with me for all these years through so many cars, boats etc. and she still surprises me. I'm a lucky guy. And no she didn't put it on my/our credit card she paid cash with " play money " she had been saving. I think I'll keep her .

I wonder if a woman would say the same thing if she came home to a new vacuum cleaner.

Excellent wife you have there. I've been blessed with a wonderful wife, too and you simply cannot buy that kind of happiness!

Great wife indeed...DO be sure to read all the operator instructions, the safety bits need extra attention. Also, be sure she or somebody is near when using the saw, in case you cut yourself seriously and need a quick trip to the hospital.

Please don't dismiss the above..more than one person has cut themselves while working with a saw alone then bled to death...

My wife bought me a new chainsaw for my birthday a few years ago. I think she used the gift as a form of hint that the dead trees on my property had to go.

my wife bought me a chainsaw from a garage sale. An older model - she thought it was cool in a retro sort of way. It had the throttle pinned open and all the safety guarding taken off.

Had the blade sharpened on the way home for me. Should I be concerned?

A Poulon with a 16 inch bar. Nice size for general around the house type stuff. I used chainsaws for many years when younger so fully aware of the dangers and safety features.

When I had to take my chain saw in for service, my wife let me use hers.

I just bought a BMW 635 Euro and my wife said "when do we pick it up". After 38 years together, she knows what turns me on.

Funny how gifts from the wife typically involve work for me.
