Regus Office
Anyone using this service?
Good/bad? We're considering it until we settle on an official location.

As a commercial real estate broker, I can attest to their services. Also, in today's economic environment, I consider them to be priced well, at least in my area.
James, I can help you with them if you desire. I have a contact that is fairly high up (recently offered me a position) and they have worked with me many times.

James,
I have several leases/service agreements with Regus across the country. I think I just termed one in Houston a few months ago. Generally, they are pretty well run but they all have different personalities. Do a walk through and get a feel for the place to see if good or bad juju. Find out what businesses are around the suite you want before committing. The terms are pretty much pre set with very little to no negotiation. All of their deals have an auto renew clause if you don't give term notification 90 days before end on contract. This is set in stone, so don't miss that trigger date or you're there another year. They also have a required clean up/repaint fee at end of contract - just be sure to accrue for that. One other thing - their internet speeds can vary greatly and can be slow like turtle. Try to get a guarantee for up/down speeds. You can bring in your own dsl/cable but they want to charge extra for you to do that, plus you still pay for their shared service. Might want to try and nego that extra fee out. Holler at me if you have other Q's. I'm around til 11A tomorrow and then on a plane for a while. Mark |

The Regus office I'm looking at has 5 days per month in the office and then access to conference rooms, phone answering and mail collection. Basically, a business address to meet clients and give you a better address than home.
I'm trying to put off moving out of the home offices until we have to hire more people. My next purchase is a small amount of land for shipment consolidation. Under the best conditions, unless I lease a full office, I will not be in my own office until late 2012 at the earliest. Regis seems like a decent stop gap for $349/mth.
