Good to see they've updated the look from the boring old industrial design of the 90's.

Lenovo’s Wedgetop Burns Twice as Bright, Half as Long | Product Reviews | Wired.com

guy likes it, but his sample had poor battery life

at least it isn't $3,000 like the rumors

I could use a bright screen (use outdoors) - also work in twilight sometimes & lighted keys wold be nice...

I like the look of old IBM laptops.

They are a machine. They are made to do work.

They aren't your sister's vibrator; they need not be all curvy and cool colors.

This is why you're an automotive engineer and not an industrial designer.

Blackberry is another example of "a machine. They are made to do work. "
So, what were they thinking? I mean, who wants THAT image anymore, when they can sport the look O' leisure with their over-priced shiny entertainment-consumption bobble? Now where did I put my 80's sweatsuit... I have some angry birds to take to the couch.

"Work" ...that's fo suckahs.

Umm, ok. That's why CrackBerry is losing market share and iPhones are being adopted for business use.

My point is about what the styling (industrial design) of a given device says about the person.

Do you really believe that "iPhones are being adopted for business use" because they have that "I'm all business" look about them?

Ahh, got it. No, they are being adapted because of the functionality.
