If you'd bought AAPL instead of Apple stuff...

What if I had bought Apple stock instead?

I was holding $60,000 in AAPL in early 2002 and dumped every penny because I didn't think they belonged in the music business. Listen to my investing advice and then do the opposite!

I feel only slightly better that I did not buy those expensive products back in the day either. I did have a 5300C that was originally $5k or something new in the '90s, (and did absolutely nothing), but I bought it used for $500. My friend, an MD, bought it new in the store. I think he wrote a book on it that made him millions, so it worked out OK.

That stock is crazy.

That's about $3M flushed down the schitter. Oh well, that's life...

Apple is something of a juggernaut in the Smartphone category...
