No. A close look at the engineering could be a hint.

pwd72s 07-04-2011 08:39 PM

The only 12 cylinder car to enter my world was Jaguar..I don't think that's it.

It is fairly rare because it was on one of the 289 Competition Cobras that was a true barn find. It was restored by Legendary Motorcar a few years ago. I think they did a pretty good job.....take a look for yourself.

If you're really bored, you can take a look at this link for the pictorial.....it was in pretty bad shape.

Wow...proof that anything can be restored, given enough money and time.

YES!

You get the cigar, chicken dinner, tumbler of scotch and the blow job.

I photographed this with the iPhone just the other day. It's a gorgeous motor, but I gather it looks better than it was......

Nope, it has to be a BN-1 or BN-2, the BN-4 has the oval grill and is the model 100-6 four seater. I have a BN-6 which is the two seater of the 100-6's.

tevake 07-05-2011 01:24 PM

I was leaning towards a BN 1 myself. Or what was that early A H, a 100
Oh and what about that cougar snout? have the details come to light?
I love this thread, and predict good things for its future!

Cheers Richard

Holy moley. impressive. '56 would have been right, also, but this car is in fact a '55.
