Early '50's BMW 501/502.

I presume the wheel is due to their being nicknamed "Baroque Angels", supposedly because their flowing lines reminded people of the carved wooden figures of the Baroque period.

The car is actually a Shark. It was built as a tribute to the Scarab. I was able to register it as a 1959 Scarab but it is actually a re-bodied Corvette.

Abarth Zagato Double Bubble Coup, 1959. I spent more than a few hours on Decker, et al in that thing.
