after thinking about it..... i dont need the added stress.

taking it to a shop and having it fixed, over and done with. period.

thanks for the advise on all counts fellas.



NOW.... i have a Fuel Distributor issue on the 911......... and the hits just keep on coming eh guys?.... WTF.

anyone have a FD for a 74 lying around?

P0171 is a vague lean code.

Do a Google search for "Mercedes Bulletin 2008020002"

It may be your problem, and should be covered by MB.

rick.... id like to ask a few questions if its ok with you..... i like to acknowledge your 20 yrs of wrenching on cars!

i have the c230 at the shop and i got a lovely laundry list of things that are wrong....... i just need a reference point to bounce questions off of... i dont know the shop or the guy so i dont want to get hosed.......

or anyone that KNOWS about mbz's...... need a lil insight guys....

Changing the MAF is a piece of cake. Have you discovered germanstarparts.com?
