Pilots...Check out this GPS droid app...awesome!!!

Naviator :: The Navigation Solution for Android Aviators

It has a free 30 day trial with all options enabled including current charts, TFR's, airport databases and weather reports. They have a couple purchase options the most expensive of which is only $50/yr.... Pretty good deal for a VFR GPS and updated sectional charts

You simply download up to three sectional charts while on the ground with good data signal, then the GPS works using only GPS signals.

Not bad - I still would never want to be in an aircraft w/o paper charts as a backup (batteries die, phones get dropped between seats, touch screens break, things fall into puddles, etc.) but that's very cool.

Be careful to put your phones on "airplane mode" for even short VFR flights or you might be violating FCC regs...

I just flew with it to a local airport to top off my tanks for Saturday's zero dark thirty Oshkosh departure. It worked perfectly and never skipped a beat. I would never rely on my Droid alone and I have the paper sectionals for the flight along with an old Apollo 360 panel mount GPS, but I really like having current charts as my graphics vs my old Apollo's indentifier and controlled airspace only plain graphics. (current TFR's are also nice)
