Porsche Crest Client keeps taunting me with stories of 'barn car'

She says it was bought for her as a first car by her dad.
Car was 'too much. for her and parked.

She says it is some sort of Porsche, dark green and has been garaged for the last 25 years without starting.

I've been talking about it with her for the last 5-7 years.

I want to see it.
I think it's an early 911.

She's in her mid fifties.

What's a low mileage 1972 911s worth?

I guy can dream, right?

OK, I've figured out what it is, using math.

So, she's 53 years old.

Her dad bought the car for her when she was 19.

Which means it was bought 34 years ago.

2011 - 35 = 1977

Those were my immediate thoughts as well!
It's not a well-sorted 944, but it's pretty darn close!

As 924s go, that's a pretty cool one - great color!

she just wants to get you to her house so she can show you her chinchilla (and no one will hear you scream)

Not worth much

In time, you get disgusted and bored.

Be careful what you wish for.

The burden of a collectable car makes one that way...People you cannot stand angling to get the car in their garage.

I'll keep working the subject.

I need to get the car to Napa. It's in Orinda.
I have a car trailer and would like to 'help'.

It's hard just to get her to answer the phone...

I'll ask.
