Raise your hands, who here in the OT is Porscheless

Just out of curiosity sake. I know quite a few of you do , but I know a few of you also do not. Are there any of you out there who have never owned one? There is quite a diverse group here.
I am guessing most of you found your way here looking for parts, or technical advice, and got hooked, kind of like myself. What about the rest of you?
Are there any of you that are not really even car people, and just here for the show?

Had two of them - very different experiences with them to say the least. Tracked the crap out of the last one taking a 41K '79 garage queen to a track beast with full cage and fire supression (but still street legal and driven to/from the track. Had some class wins and a few track/class records. Sold it early in '08 after a $10K tranny rebuild was the last budget bill I could stomach...racin' ain't cheap.

Currently own three. One registered and running, one running but not registered or driven on the street (legally) and one in a semi-perpetual state of rebuild...

I still have my 944 that I have been contemplating unloading lately. That wouldn't stop me from visiting here though. I enjoy the people and the posts here quite a bit and made some good friends through this Pelican site.

Got three and enough parts to build a '56 cab if I ever have time. Then I'll have 3 '56 356s.

Currently without. My last Porsche was a 1987 Carrera that I built up with a 3.4 liter twin plugged motor. The one before that was a 99 Boxster that I put a new motor in and turned. I've had many!

My "Helga"...

This was my "Helga" from 2002-2010, when I sold it and she's back in Stuttgart, Germany getting repainted to her original color (green) and restored. Hopefully, the new owner will post pics here...

I'm Porsche-less now...

I'm currently "between Porsches." Have been for about 6 years now. But if a few events pan out like I'm hoping, I'll be back in the driver's seat soon. Soon, my precious ...

Currently without. Prior was my first...a '86 coupe. Will be back in a '78-'89 someday sooner rather than later.

I may soon be Porscheless Seriously thinking about dumping the '44. I was planning on doing a total overhaul. Drivetrain/body/paint. I have 300,000+ on it and it shows. But for what it will cost me, I just dont think it is worth it. These cars are a dime a dozen. I have definately got gotten my $$ worth out of it. For 22 plus yrs she has served me well.
I would rather put the money I'm gonna spend towards a 911 in the future.

Or that Detomaso Pantera I dream of....

Does being at your lowest number of Porsches in 20 years, count?
Right now I'm down to two.
70 911 T R Gruppe contender with a twin plug, 2.45 liter engine making 180RWHP.

1970 914/6 sport a 2.7 RS spec engine with Solex cams and stort ratio side shift trans.
Matching numbers engine and trans stored in the shop.

Lately I've been collecting different brands to add a touch of variety to life.
Rebodied L82 Corvette registered as a 59 Scarrab
73 Lotus Elan
68 Buick GS 400
64 Appollo GT 500
1929 Steel A bucket with a 350hp 62 Corvette 327 engine (looking for a coupe body)
