Super Streamlined Human Powered Vehicle

I just happened on this and thought it was pretty cool.

A high tech super streamlined human powered vehicle built to attempt a new record of distance traveled in 24 hours - Trying to break 1021 km / 634 miles.

I'm betting my wife has one of those, albeit much much smaller.

It's cool, but if it ever hits the street should be painted a bright color for safety.

Did you see the other one on that site? Again, something suggestively sexual implied.

Worlds fastest human powered

I built the wheels for Shimano's HPV entry in 1980 IIRC.
I took it for a spin minus the body. I was cruising at 35 or so and could keep that pace up for a long time. With the aero I could have done much more.

I was racing at the time and could maybe go over 30 in a very short sprint on my paramount road bike.
