GF makes beer and wine. She has nine carboys. Five are full now. I do the cutting and splitting. It's a symbiotic relationship.

We used to make beer ourselves too. It was a fun experience. We however were only at the 5-gallon food pail stage. Not 9 carboys!!! ![]() ![]() Our new house has a little 8 x 8 dungeon which while not cellar temperature (too hot in FL) is enough of a difference where if I added cooling, the electric bill would be reasonable. So we can't wait to get back into making beer again. In fact the first thing we are going to do is buy a carboy. Ahhhh homemade beer....... |

Oil changes on the other hand, are something I'll always do myself. there is no way I'll let a clown at Jiffylube touch my cars! On that note, check out this video and perhaps you'll think twice about letting them touch your cars too!

Hehe. The Jiffy Lube featured was right around the corner from me. I wondered why they had gone out of business. I think they (another location) messed with my brakes. Got lazy on the Toyota oil change and brought it to them. Brakes were fine going in. Shortly after I left, strange noises started to show up.
