I dunno if you're kidding or not, but if one is talking about tragic losses in fires, I'd have to go with the original 60's era GT-40 that was lost in a SoCal hillside neighborhood a few years back in one of those Santa Ana driven wildfires. It was in a garage and I don't remember the circumstances, but the owner just couldn't get it out and away in time.

Yea, I was joking....I'm almost always joking.

I say the guy that crashed must have been driving recklessly and deserves some whacks to the head with a shovel.

I still drive the Beetle most often. The Toyota hauls small stuff, the Suburban hauls heavy stuff, the 928 hauls me, or my wife in an envelop of cold air, the Civic is my wife's main commuter appliance, and the TR6, and XR650 mostly just sit there anymore. The Spartan is the current resto project on center stage...

I'm sure you'd like to be cool like me, but driving a Fox bodied phallic extension to the pool hall in the afternoons is posing, at best. Posting all things Mustang on a Porsche BBS is just plain pathetic.

You would be impressed with me too, I'd gladly crash that thing into a wall, every day of the week. Heck, give me that other 'Stang number one, the collectable street version. Just to earn your respect, I'd push it off a cliff and watch it burn....

Porsches NEVER crash because only skilled drivers buy them.

Gee Yeti...it must be so cool to own a fleet of mundane & cheap cars...the insurance man must love ya!

- Post a new topic on yet another variant of the Ford Mustang? Check
- Belittle other members rides? Check
- Mention a well sorted 944? Check
- Post a crashed GT3? Check

Yup, it's another PWD thread!!!!

ONLY Porsches should be mentioned here in Off Topic, right?

Here's a real sweet one for ya...

Nearly anything can be mentioned in OT, as long as the rules are followed. What's not allowed is trolling. Specifically prohibited. It is supposed to get a warning the first time and then temporary banning leading to permanent banning if it continues.

Kind of like the way you punish a kindergartner, for behavior you would expect from the same. I think that the reason this rule is not being enforced in your case is out of mercy, ie. if you were not allowed to troll here-->you would have no life left. And that would be cruel and unusual punishment.

So troll away!

It is amazing how people can be mean around here. Thick skin or not, it is pointless.
It is the off-topic forum, and at least Paul posts car-related stuff.

He hates the early S grope, the R group, the PCA, but at least he does own an interesting car.
And for him being a curmudgeon...well some people would be well advised to check in the mirror sometimes.

Does he bug me? yes from time to time.

Do I like Mustangs? yes.

I am sure he (like all the polarising people on here) is the nicest person in real life.

Don't like his posts? put him on ignore.

Could have sworn I have pics of an orange 302S at the Ford Oshkosh tent from two weeks ago.
