Here's my example from this morning. I get in early, and always try to get this space. I hug the line to the far right, which leaves plenty of space on my driver's side. I head into the break room for a cup of coffee and this is what I see...

Not sure why I'm clapping.....
Ever had your car towed?
Can drive you nuts trying to get it out (from what I hear) This makes me smirk a little bit, even though he was at fault...... :) Pissed Off Guy Who Got Car Towed Paid Tow Truck Company With 8,800 Pennies - YouTube |

Does this count? Was following him into Hershey yesterday, and he pulled into the same rest stop as us. I watched as he parked way in the back away from everybody else, but I noticed his car " bounce" back a little bit after he parked. I walked over and saw this. |
Nah, that's not even close to the line and he got what he had coming anyway for not knowing how to park.
|
Parked my 944 out near the back of the grocery store parking lot a few days ago, come out, and some azzhole in an old Chevy truck pulled in just inches from me. Without a doubt he did it to spite me. Of course, the side of my doors are already dinged up thanks to inconsiderate people, so I couldn't tell if there was any new damage.
People have no respect for others property and its sickening. Who can blame someone for wanting to protect their pride and joy, investment, etc. Funny how my nicer cars seem to accumulate door rings, but the others don't. Makes me wonder how many are really accidental.. |

Some of you guys are really tiresome. Can you try to get a life? |

I can't get out of my head the old joke about how to tell a porcupine from a Porsche. Even before Porsche ownership I had (through personal observation) thought of most Porsche owners as pricks. I still feel this to be true but should just keep negative thoughts like that to myself, of course. Regarding the photo above - who knows why the car was parked that way (crooked). Maybe the driver is/was impaired. Maybe he is just not as structured as many of us are when we park our cars (and trucks). Or maybe he was trying to park in such a way as to prevent door dings, etc. I do have a life - yesterday for most of the day I worked at my current landscape project installing some RR ties along the front of the property where the right-of-way meets the new lawn. Tomorrow I will complete the project with 3 CY of shell to top-dresss the right-of-way. Maybe I will post a pic if it's of any interest. At any rate - I enjoy this forum as a way to relax and exchange conversation, thoughts, and ideas. It's too easy to launch attacks as we all know and experience - too many times and way too much negativity for all we have and all we should be enjoying in our lives. So again thanks for the wake-up call. Regards and all the best, Bazza ;) |
went to lunch with slodave earlier in the week. parked the fiat away from everybody else. sure enough while eating, a lexus pulled in next to me, so close that there was no way i could even open my door. i just went back into the restaurant and made an announcement that there was a black lexus parked in a ridiculous manner. "could you please move your car so that i can get in?" the owner spoke up, apologized, and moved his car.

So Rick Lee is left handed?

Just saw two more egregious d'bag parking jobs at the gym. Will post photos as soon as I'm home.
|
Here's the first d'bag from today's trip to the gym.
http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1335141512.jpg Driver came out while I was leaving. It was a late-20's female. I would so hate to be with someone who acted like this in public, even with me not around. And this is the one parked next to her. http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1335141583.jpg What would a trip to the near empty gym be without some sweaty, disgusting man grabbing the locker right next to mine when there are literally 100 empty ones farther away from me and closer to the door? Mine is the black padlock and I was the only one in this section when I took the locker. http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1335141692.jpg To top off the day, I had two near-misses on the bike in the mere 12 mile ride home, when two other d'bags thought nothing of jumping out to turn in front of me with no one anywhere behind me. I hate everyone. Time to drink. |
Rick, that reminds me of the unwritten rule of a public bus, you can't sit next to someone if there is an empty row of seats still on the bus.
|
Rick, you need to carry some Go-Jacks with you so you can really screw up there parking:D
|
Rick, you're cursed, plain and simple. :)
