So, it was the little Lady's B day, last night, we got rid of the kid , and went downtown for a decent dinner in a place that does not have a slide, or happy meals. I parked my truck in the parking garage, and as we were walking away, I noticed that I was crooked, and one tire was over the yellow line.
I walked back to the truck , and moved it , nice and neat right in the middle of the spot. She gave me that funny look , and asked my why I did that. I told her about how I did not want to be the next D bag taking up two spaces.

I'm very very very close to confrontational status. Aside from parking issues which happen continuously....these drivers who poke along with no regard to the white Silverado WORK TRUCK in their rear view mirror.....

The first stage will be pre-constructed signs: "PLEASE MOVE OVER AND LET ME GET BY YOU" or "EMERGENCY....MUST GET AROUND YOU" or maybe "MOVE OVER!"

Doucebags all of them......

So did the guy use one space or two? You know the drill: pics for proof, please. If he was legitimately in one space, please don't threadjack. Go start your own thread about your personal space issues.

After last night's double dose of close parkers, I'm starting to get a little sympathy for the ones who take two parking spaces, at least the ones who do so at no one else's expense. I wouldn't do it and it does hint at attempted douchebaggery. But when other idiots just insist on parking next to you when there are countless better spots, what's a man to do? These are probably the same guys who take urinal next to yours when all others are free or run around the gym lockroom naked and make small talk with complete strangers while letting it all hang out. I hate everyone.

But you don't really know that those spaces were empty when he parked, right? Maybe he really isn't a d'bag.

Also, either way, maybe he was just...

1) parking there so he could get a good look at your car.
2) parking next to the cool P-car in an attempt to make his M-car absorb a little of it's awesomeness... and make it handle better. :D

Maybe it was a compliment that he parked next to you. ;)

I know I was one of maybe three customers in the entire store at that time of night and everything else in that shopping center was closed. I was there less than 10 min.

They're pool players man...not concerned about parking...:D (edit) Randy, why don't you stroll in there sometime & holler: "Why don't you douchbags learn to park?"

Joe Bob 02-26-2012 08:46 AM

Yeah pool players know dick about angles....now Oregon Football recruiters......they just blame it on USC.

http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1330151171.jpg

When I drove up, the two spaces to my left were taken. So I took the one near a curb to cut the chances by 50% of someone parking next to me. No sooner had I gotten out of the car than a giant SUV with the 22" rims parked next to me and kept the engine running while the d'bag went shopping and his lady fiddled with the radio. When I came out of the store, all the spaces to my left were empty and this Mustang d'bag had parked next to me. I'm not feeling charitable, so I doubt these guys were doing it to protect my car. Why?!?!?! 300 empty parking spaces, what makes someone always choose the one next to the 993?

Actually, you shoulda thanked him for protecting you from door dings...he didn't ding your door, right? I often do that for another good car...why not give the guy credit instead of whine & moan?

LOL! True dat...poor Duckies, the NCAA caught 'em with their pants down. Still waiting to see what sanctions, if any, are applied.

The pool hall shot? I parked there just long enough to take the photo...spaced the car well between the others, I thought. After I took the photo, I moved from the meter parking to the gravel customer parking out back. Here's the proof.

I get to work early and park way over to one side to make sure no one dings the car. Later I see this parked next to my car.
Really?

why is ernie your passenger?

Por_sha911 02-26-2012 11:11 AM

Put him in the car for fun at a car show and got more compliments on him than the car. He rides with me now and again and you should see the double takes. I tell everyone he's the only one that doesn't complain that I drive too fast. This pic was taken on Tail of the Dragon and was on the front page of the photog web-site for a few weeks:

Nice looking 911!

I am amazed that paulie is commenting about UO players, when so many OSU players have been arrested recently!

not that it is at all relevant to this thread, but that's just paulie...

Rick already stated he was driving a Mustang...
