The cost of the juice is not the issue. Irresponsibility of not accounting for vehicle range and properly accommodating for recharging is. Not to mention inconsiderate nature of damaging the home owners lawn. Especially considering the Tesla owners did NOT know the homeowners. Dare I say Millennial? |

If you can afford a brand new Tesla, you can afford the recharge. I suspect that the picture is revealing the true problem with EVs - range and availability of recharges. Either that or the thief is an idiot who used to run out of gas all the time because he/she didn't look at the gauge. Thief or moron? |

Be a shame if that wheelchair were to accidentally rub up against that SUV.

It is also handy to have a valve stem tool
|
No damage to that car would cause the driver to change how they park.
Their wiring is just that way. Public shaming would be nice. I’d pay a dollar to see that. |

Good way to get a beating or worse.
How many people have you punished already? Keeping tools handy means you do it frequently? Not that I approve of douchebag parking, I do not at all. But messing with other people's property is not ok, IMO. if you play judge, jury and executioner, don't be surprised if you get the same treatment when you get caught snipping someone's valve stems... |
Yeah, I'd bludgeon someones skull if I found them cutting my valve stem. I don't park in handicapped spots though

That was my point. Damaging someone's property is never cool.
I work in hospitals every week. I see all kinds of horrific parking. But after all these years, I have "lessened" my harsh judging of offenders. Just imagine a family member in a serious medical condition...now navigate through heavy traffic, and when you finally arrive at the hospital, the lot is nearly full. There's a spot! Grab it, trot inside. Turns out the parking job was awful, and when they come out, some DB has snipped valve stems, or keyed your siht, or left an insulting note...whatever. There are countless examples on this thread that do not fit in that category, absolutely. But I'd wager there are plenty that do. Enough for me to say "hmm, hope whatever caused this isn't serious". But if its not, and they're really a DB, I think "what a sad way to live". |
My daughter is in a W/C. I parked in the handicap spots when I had her for about a year and then stopped. It's not much trouble for me to push her an extra xxx ft. and I don't have to worry about parking spots or bringing the placard or someone getting bent out of shape over some dumb thing.

I usually park further out. Helps get my step count up for the day. |
Just to clarify, I wasn't advocating damaging someone's property, but it would be funny to watch them try to explain to the police why they parked in the "no parking" or "handicap" space as they try to get the multiple flats repaired. Just saying.

What about the person (like my good friend with MS) that has a WC van like the kid above. Drives the van w/ a handbrake/throttle. NEEDS room at the ramp to get in/out. His only means of transport. No 'father' to push him.... |

Another great option to resolve this situation https://i.ytimg.com/vi/Qu9MaK5EmM0/hqdefault.jpg |
Parking in Rome is fiercely competitive and parking spaces are in short supply.
Instead of dickheads taking up too much space, situations like this are far more common ↓ http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1582774755.jpg |

In this guy's defense, I think every spot in this parking garage is marked "compact," so maybe he overlooked the label painted on the ground. And this motorcycle stall is probably only 3 mm narrower than the car spots. |
Looking over the previous 10 pages it appears GM and Dodge drivers are in the lead, followed by Toyota and BMW.

Not 2 spaces but a space AND the lane cars drive in!

Semi-empty parking lot. Wide spaces. Yet can't park between the lines http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1584199852.jpg

Euro Sunday, a couple hundred cars, but this guy is sPeCiAl

And then you have the sPeCiaL nEedS motorcycle guys who think the sidewalk is their personal parking lot. I want to get some cheapo Chinese bike locks to install for cases like this.

I had an old boy park his Acura nsx sideways on 2 handicapped parking spaces. He had no tags saying he was handy capped. I walked by and he and his hot sexy broad jumps out and heads into the store. I stared at him and he just laughed and walked away. I finished my purchases and the care was still there as I pulled out of the parking lot. LOL!
