Chances are she didn't park it there, that's just where it broke down. |

Didn't have a chance to get a picture, but some clown in a F150 pulling a trailer took up at least 4 parking spaces, in the middle of the lot on the 4th of July. He deserved one of these.http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1562277891.jpg

Some guy took two at the cars and coffee this morning. I won't show the picture, but man, rookie move. You might get away with it if it was a Koenigsegg or a Veyron, but not a '60s sports/muscle car.

This guy took up 4 spaces, at least he was parked far enough and early enough not to matter and the van was still there when I finished my shopping.

Shocking... Actually parked correctly.... with other cars.

8:30 in the evening. I think there were 3 cars in the whole parking lot . This guy crams right up behind me at Lowe's . He does not even fit in the spot . There were at least 8 other front row spaces available .http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1562442272.jpg

Looks like he did an excellent job of parking. What else did you want him to do?? |
looks to me like there’s one person parked improperly there
|
Interesting that you would think that way.
I always thought it safer to either back into a parking spot, or pull through , so that when I am exiting , I have a clear field of view of where I am heading . My gf in my 20's was leaving her job at the mall one night, and backed right into a little girl that she could not see. It was really lucky that she only knocked her down , and no one was hurt, but she was really shook up about it . I think the experts agree. https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&rct=j&q=&esrc=s&source=web&cd=1&cad=rja&u act=8&ved=2ahUKEwjS6qm3q6HjAhWBZs0KHUhqA8kQFjAAegQ IABAB&url=https%3A%2F%2Fauto.howstuffworks.com%2Fc ar-driving-safety%2Faccidents-hazardous-conditions%2Fbacked-in-car-parking-lot-space.htm&usg=AOvVaw30SSI2aC0o43kstHUORuAE Mine was the beat up Chevy, not the Ford. Maybe that guy could have used one of the 200 other available spots? I fit neatly into my spot , no other cars around anywhere . Maybe it is all the years in the auto biz. I always leave cars facing face out, so the customers don't have to struggle, or back into something when they are pulling out . |
Fred. I was making a joke. Remember when people could do that?
I think you parked just great. Chill out |

The reason is that in case of an emergency (at home or work or shopping) you want to be pointing in the direction that you can easily get out. |

The car was already there when the truck pulled in on the line.

The side of a the building has the diagonal parking for about 10 spots. This idiot in his 4 door generic econobox uses two spaces. I had to go to the back of the building and walk a lot further to accommodate this d'bag. |

In fact I have found a lot of pleasure in parking as far away from the general public as mechanically possible. |

Local pizza joint, very busy at lunch. I think he took at least five spaces, which are the closest to the restaurant entrance. Not the first time we have seen trucks pulling trailers do this in that parking lot. The worst part is that about 40 yards away there is a huge Walmart parking lot where he could have parked his rig, but no. But at least he put a cone out for where his trailer is sticking out in the area for vehicles to traverse.

I park diagonal every time in the parking lot when I go to dialysis which is Mon-Wed-Fri because two times I've come out and some f**khead scraped down the side of my Cayenne Turbo so now every time I take up two spaces and sometimes I come out and someone still tried to park beside me. I also drive my beat up 97 F150 farm truck now because I wouldn't care if someone hit it.
Of course they haven't becasue they're waiting for me to start driving the Cayenne again Tony |
