Have you checked PARF? Only problem is they only adjust either left or right but not both.

I hit the gym 5 days per week. 3 days cross fit, 2 days strictly running, but then, it's part of the job and gym access one of the bennies.

Ah, but did you do that stuff ALONE?

I agree, I've been doing bootcamp style PT workouts now for several months. I pay for it. I also have someone who sets up workouts, and a group of people who i can support in their efforts, and who support me.

I wouldn't do a tenth of what I do if I was alone. No support, no drive.

I was lucky when I had a SEAL based work out I wanted to do, I was able to con my Dad into meeting me and doing it together, my brother also joined in. I have to agree, if I'd of been alone, I'd of not made it!

My "gym" membership is my kart track, I've been neglecting it lately to work on my 944's, but normally I do 1-3hours of seat time a week. Keeps things in decent shape.

Put a smith machine, treadmill, elliptical machine and cables in the basement and you're covered. I think we picked up our stuff new (except the smith machine) for under $3k. Not using it in the basement is soooo much better than not using it across town.

Not that it is an expensive gym.
Does that come with a happy ending?

Buy a used set of free waits and a bench.
Works great for my son and myself and never have to wait for others to get off the equipment or worry about catching anything.

I go 4-5x a week to the local Gold's for $25 per month. It's got everything I need and it's right across the street from my gun club too. I tried out a physical trainer twice a week until yesterday, when they told me the guy who signed me up got fired, partly because he had given me more than twice as many sessions as what I pay should have really gotten me. What they want for those sessions is waaaay more than I want to pay. But now I've learned all the excercises I need to continue on my own sans trainer.

I tried lifting weights once. Those things were heavy.

LOL I wish. Blonde girl personal trainer would be a good person to talk to about it.

Well, that depends on your fitness goals. Push-ups and pull-ups wouldn't have helped me get my bench press weight up to 300lbs last year, which was my goal. On the upside, that didn't take $10k in equipment, either - free weights at home.

Running in place will never get you the same results as running from a lion.

Stay thirsty my friends.
