Cool Android based WWII fighter plane games

There are free and paid for versions of all three of these games. I haven't purchased the full versions of any of them (yet), but I've had fun playing the free versions for quite a while.

Winds of Steel. In the free version, you're flying a Japanese Zero, you attack Pearl Harbor and run a couple of other missions. It's pretty easy to fly and shoot with the most basic physics and control. The bullets go straight and hits what's in front of them. You don't have to lead, and the way the planes react to the controls is, I assume, not terribly realistic. It's what you'd expect of a basic flying shooting game. It's definitely "arcade" style. There are air to air and air to water/ground missions including missions with both. I think this is the oldest of the three. I believe in the full version you can chose from US or Japanese planes.

you can turn the cockpit view off and use a chase plane view

Pacific Navy Fighter. This is also a WWII US vs Japan game except in this one you're flying a corsair. There are also air and ground/water missions. This time there are 3 weapons, machine guns, bombs and torpedos. You have to "reload' the bombs and torpedos, and if you sustain damage, you can have it repaired (same process as reloading). This is slightly more realistic in that the paths of the bullets are not straight and you do have to lead your targets (like in a dog fight). This one is better and harder than the first. It seems to have a better physics model and to react a bit more realistically.

Skies of Glory. I just downloaded this one a few minutes ago. It seems to be a bit harder than the others. I think that may be because the flight controls and physics seem like the most realistic of the bunch, but they feel like they still need to work out some bugs. The bullets are back to being laser straight though. I'm not sure how good this one is. I haven't played it enough to know for sure, but I think some of the gaps in the physics may be harming the play.

My vote

Best PNF
good WoS

fun and shows promise, SoG.

I'd recommend you try the free version of all three.
