Ultimate mancave tables!

Check these out. No clue what they would cost, but those BD #3 cams on the bottom of the second one are about $70/ea

As a mechanical guy, those Harbor Freight ratchet straps, hardware store turnbuckles and threaded rod scream cheap to me.... just saying.

The doug fir or pine should be a hardwood. That burned look makes it so 70's. The use of a walnut or maple or other hardwood would make it very interesting.

Tim has a valid point. Even if you can't manufacture your own parts (although some of us can ) one could find sources for parts that didn't look so cheap.

If furniture could be rice, well, these tables are rice.

They look kinda busy to me. Overbuilt with stuff. Is half that hardware even necessary? Or is that part of the art?

Neat, but fortunately not my cup of tea as it must be expensive.

The artist need to learn how to use the table saw. Burn marks from the saw blade only on one side and the other side is sanded clean and smooth. Must be an artists thing?

Haha I haven't burnt wood like that since I built my own waterbed

Got me thinking though, a cantilever table would be cool, hmmm let me get on that.

Yeah, they could be hyped as next gen Steam Punk gone all sophisticated like. Erecto Punk?

They actually could stand on their own as sculpture if the maker chose to present them as such.
