My ancestral name was Johannsen. It got changed when my great somethings emigrated to the US. And my daughter has bright blue eyes and blond hair. That might be good for an associate membership?

Markus:
During our walk today, my dog Jack (see pic) successfully mounted a dog, which, according to its owner, was a Swedish "Drever" dog—or some such thing. (But it was definitely Swedish.) I think Jack thus deserves to be admitted to this august group. What say you? http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1315666079.jpg |
Yes, Dottore, a Drever is a very popular hunting dog in Sweden. An original Swedish breed I believe. Jack is admitted directly. :)
LWJ, that should count. Depending on whether the name was spelled Johansson or Johannsen, it would indicate a Swedish or Norwegian/Danish ancestry. |

Incredible! In terms of being well known, that would be like me saying I recently had a beer with Arnold S. here in Vejbystrand.

My mother's family were Swedish farmers 2nd Gen.
I still eat pancakes with milk and sugar. Is that close enough for an honorable mention? |
