Yes, Dottore, a Drever is a very popular hunting dog in Sweden. An original Swedish breed I believe. Jack is admitted directly. :)

LWJ, that should count. Depending on whether the name was spelled Johansson or Johannsen, it would indicate a Swedish or Norwegian/Danish ancestry.

Same here. My last name is now "son" but was "sen" when they came through Ellis Island. Seeing all of the people from the home country my great grandfather started using the "son" spelling to be more "American" and it's stayed that way. All of my family back in Denmark/Germany still use the "sen" spelling.

My mother's family were Swedish farmers 2nd Gen.

I still eat pancakes with milk and sugar. Is that close enough for an honorable mention?
