iCloud

I have big hopes for this... I have a Macbook Pro 17" which serves as my home/semiportable computer. Most of the time, I like to travel with my Macbook Air, and syncing data between the 2 is a ROYAL pain the arse before I leave, and then when I get back. iCloud will help with Safari bookmarks and emails. Hoping it will handle my work docs, too (Photoshop, Dreamweaver, Fetch, etc).

I have it running on the Macbook Pro now (had to download 10.7.2). Going to update the Air later today and test the syncing.

Anyone else giving it a go and using it for similar purposes?

A friend has already bricked his phone from the iOS5 install so I'll wait to update the iPad and iTouch until maybe 5.1 comes out.

Dropbox is pretty seamless and works on any platform.

You still using Fetch?

Was all I ever used back in the day but then it turned to absolute crap.

Been using Transmit for the last 6 or so years. Really rock solid.

Maybe I'll give Fetch another look for nostalgia.

I'm looking forward to this too, but am waiting for Friday to update. It's being reported that Apple's servers are overloaded by people updating and it's taking forever.

Yeah, been using Fetch for like 15 years. I tried Transmit but didn't like it. I'm too used to Fetch's shortcuts for each of my accounts.
