Sounds like someone who has been there...

Sad thing is that I still eat ramen noodles like I did in college... and like them!

Tonight will be a porterhouse steak though!

At least you're not drinking the wine out of a Mason jar.

Eating like that isn't doing anything good for your physique either and won't help out your single status...

bachelor chinese homecooking by colors

1) heat oil
2) add minced garlic, ginger, salt, and sliced meat of your choice.
3) add something red, something yellow, and something green.
4) stir fry 2-3minutes until done
5) serve over steamed white rice

red stuff: peppers (bell or chili), carrots, tomatos, red onion
yellow stuff: peppers, potatoes, squashes, corn, mushrooms
green stuff: anything leafy veggie.

Cooking class is good. Crock pot is a truly wonderful invention.

Being able to cook got me more trim than everything else I ever tried. You want to cook at her place though. Then, they don't know where you live and you don't have that awkward trying to get them to leave in the morning thing.

He needs to hire a housekeeper. The house will be clean, meals fixed nicely, and he'll get about as much sex as with the wife...And it will be cheaper...

The kind of cool thing with the crockpot is that you can add a little something to it everytime you eat some, so it's always a little different. Just don't add bay leaves in that scenario, the food will get bitter.

When I was single, sometimes I wouldn't have a regular "meal" just so I didn't have to wash dishes. Of course w/kids that may not work out so well.
